And about the smell of weed, I certainly not I e a different smell when it comes to my carts. I couldn't fucking believe how much gorilla glue actually smells like gorilla glue. I was dumbfounded and thought they had to add regular gorilla glue to make the smell so on point

I get 90% THC carts. Right now I have super sour diesel, sour diesel, strawnana, Durban poison, banana OG, cookies N cream, and a couple others. I look them all up online on thst site "leafly" and it gives specifics on each strain. Even then, I don't really notice a difference between them all....


I'm going to try harder to notice. Let me add I keep my tolerance very very low. If I take 1 massive hit, I'm fucking gone. Almost tripping.

I haven't read the rest of this thread since there has been 100+ posts since I posted here yesterday....

But you're probably not going to notice much difference between strains with those "carts", at all.

Those carts are distillates and mostly just THC (like you mentioned, 90%), you're not getting anything near the full spectrum of what the plant/strain has to offer with those things...with carts all you're getting is mostly a wallop of THC to the brain, that's about it.

The chemical makeup of what's in those carts, and what's in a bud of herb, is pretty different. Those carts do not contain anywhere near the full spectrum of components that's found in the flower. So you're not really getting the true character of the strain from carts, mostly just THC.

I'll puff on one if someone offers, but I really don't like those carts...The high is usually lacking compared to flower. And they're kinda considered to be the "hot dogs" of the cannabis industry.

A lot of those carts don't even have all the terps the actual strain/flower contains..and some carts even contain terps that are not from cannabis.

If you really want to notice the differences between some strains, work with flower and not high THC extracts. Most extracts all have the same generic high to me, regardless of what strain they come from.




And as far as the whole indica vs sativa thing....There's far more to it IMO, I don't view the herb as having only two different types of highs...And there's lots of variables, not to mention the timing of harvest can influence the type of high/effect.


I like this chart below, it breaks things down the way I sorta view the different nuances and differences I notice between some strains. I'm mostly just talking about the mental/physical effects they show on the chart, that's the main aspects I'm talking about. I'm not saying it's so cut & dry and true as this chart shows, and I'm not saying the strains they list as examples are going to give that specific effect for everyone, but just talking about the different types of mental/physical effects that I experience from the herb and how it's shown on that chart....

To me there is a drastic difference between the effect of GDP and Trainwreck...Sure they'll both get me "lit", after smoking both I could say I'm "high"...but one is way more stoney and mellow and mind numbing for me while the other is much more energetic and clear and a bit psychedelic.

Some strains bring out my anxiety while others can mellow it (and this has nothing to do with sativa or indica)....Some strains put me to sleep & sedate me while others keep me alert...Some strains make my mind cloudy while other make me focused.

All herb will get me high/stoned, but I surely do experience nuances between em' all and some strains really do have a unique high that stands out from the rest.

I also notice a better "quality" and richness of the high/effects from herb that's very resinous & sticky and has a lot of aroma, versus herb that's not as sticky or aromatic...Herb that's highly resinous/sticky/greasy and aromatic always has a certain quality to the high that's soooo lovely...hits real deep.

I also feel herb grown outdoors under real sunshine and grown in live/organic soil has a better quality to it than herb grown indoors under-lights with synthetic fertilizers.
