If you read the thread, I honestly didn't know and wanted all your opinions. Then about halfway through the thread, I started doing my own research and found out I have been lied to about indica and sativa, which was my suspicions from the start. I didn't start acting confident until I read some links.

Maybe some of you should do the same instead of being offended at the fact you have been lying to yourself about this.

I've smoked plenty of strains that were very hard to discern differences in the high. I've also smoked straight that had easily distinguishable differences in the high they produced.

Not because I read what they supposedly do. Because I smoked the shit and paid attention to how I feel.

I've been lied to? By who, myself...? Yes,many strains are so similar in the high,beside taste and smell, they are haed to distinguish, other strains aren't. That is all in my head bro....?

I don't even buy weed unless it's over 28% cuz anything less doesn't get me high. And the stuff I do get from 28-32% has noticeable differences depending on ALOT of factors. And most of those factors come from genetics.

Genetics... which express different physiology and chemical make up according to environmental factors during the growth cycle that depends on light/soil/climate and various other factors.

Of which there is no consensus sequence on indica vs. sativa let alone strain.

We won't even get into how much of a crapshoot potency analyses can be.

I've smoked strains that had very distinct differences in the high.

Knowing the name or genetics is not needed to notice the effect when you smoke it.

If it was placebo, I should be noticing differences for every different strain and not just certain ones.

You guys disagree?

Why do some strains the high seems similar and almost identical then some the high is noticably different, regardless of knowing the supposed effects of the weed? Just mt mind making shit up...?

Seriously would kike a response to that from those who say there is no difference.

I think a good comparison, possibly, is multispore syringes. That's just like weed in today's age..random. and then when the spores turn into mushrooms..there's no difference in the highs of the mushrooms even though the spores are multispore, just as cannabis has a lot of mixed genetics and still gives the same high, more or less

I completely disagree because you cannot discern what accounts for a difference between trips from the same "strain" of mushrooms let alone different ones.

I have never been able to personally tell a difference even if some trips on different "strains" seemed more "visual", weednis far more consistent in the effect it produces, you cannot compare the two, as you said, apples and oranges.

Yet people do claim differences between cubes and azure and cyan, no?

The difference can totally come from different ratios of cannabinoids and to a lesser extent terpenes. There's just no way to track them according to a given name.

I think all this comes down to our subjective experience and we trust our subjective experience.

Yours is that they are the same and you refuse to accept that for others they are not. I know there are differences because I have experienced them. Without a doubt. And it wasn't placebo or anything else. It was based purely on 0 preconceptions of what the high will be and analyzing the effect it had on me.

Tracking them according to a name is not the same as saying different bud produces different highs.

I've had literally 5 different buds at a time and I didn't pay attention to whatname was what or what the high was "supposed" to be. And I've had strains claiming tk be indica or sativa produce results I would expect from the opposite, consistently. Meaning I am not judging based on a preconceived or given description, but on the effect I felt and experienced.

Remember the argument here...its that sativa and indica is bullshit.

Little changes can be present because of tepernes and cbd content and all that.

All im saying is there is no differentiating the highs by calling weed either sativa or indica

Whoever claimed they were sativa or indica was full of shit, in the process it corrupted your mind into thinking your weed was either one.

Yea it's not even worth arguing about. I know what type of high I like to get outta weed, and I know what to look for when I want that. So I'll just keep doing that and not worry about Bill getting the same high no matter what weed he smokes.

The changes in terpenes and cbd/thc come from the lineage tho. U just don't wanna admit it. Or u never had the luxury to see analysis of what ur smoking

But you are also saying there no difference in the high produced, correct? Regardless of it's label.

But I've had a supposedly 80% sativa and my experience was an extremely energized, and very clear headed high, with no body load or tiredness. It was the strongest stereotypical "sativa" effect I have ever had. Very consistent effect.

I've also had indica that had very strong body loads, very strong feelings of tired,  and a very "fuzzy" head space.

So ime sometimes these labels and descriptions have been accurate.

Also the definition in difference between sativa and indica isn't new to me. I learned about that I'm a grow book like 10 years ago when I was a kid trying to grow weed. I don't really see how physical characteristics of sativa and indica is relevant...?

Idk why i get pulled into this. I am so weak.
