Can’t believe OP wants to use big government to over regulate the free market. Don’t you know even acknowledging wealth disparity is a Soviet tactic? Of course 3 people have more wealth than half of the country. That’s capitalism working just as God intended. Not sure why you hate America so much, but it is troubling.

Do you mean anti-trust laws?

Anti-trust laws are about protecting the free market relationship between producers and consumers. It doesn’t have anything to do with wealth disparity.

If you want to prevent government from dictating how much money people earn, you should be supporting unions. Unions are the best private sector solution to wealth inequality.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Here’s one place to start. In the past 40 years, workers have become 77% more productive but only earn 14% more money. Where does the wealth that extra productivity produces go? To the owners, management, stockholders etc. These are the people who are getting rich off the more efficient and valuable labor of their employees.

I am just saying. If we prevented monopolies and government subsidies, it seems like these corporations wouldn't have as much power. Let them fail if they fail and don't let them solely control the market.

Except during the recessions of 2001 and 2008, US Manufacturing output has grown, while manufacturing employment has tanked.




The bush years were disastrous for manufacturing

If a bank or airline failed, and the government did not bail them out, they would no longer be rich.

Legalize smallscale home cultivation of weed and shrooms and prohibit plantations, so that many households will have the pportunirty to take part in a lucerative cottage industry.

The gov't is so much on the dick of large businesses that small businesses are dying out, and small businesses is how you solve wealth disparity. You cant even grow pumpkins and tomatoes in your garden and sell them without getting arrested.



Oh and basic income, it is time.

Airlines fail. The government doesn’t bail them out. With proper regulation, banks won’t fail. The problem is they aren’t regulated like they should be. I

Again, what does this have to do with wealth disparity? When a company fails it hurts everyone. People lose their jobs.
