Wow maybe I’ll just start doing that how many quarts of spawn per brick for you I did 5 last time but I have double the jars now?

What is this wiping it off the walls stuff?  Do you wipe large water droplets off your walls?  Elaborate!  Never heard this before, and am very curious

If your house is on the cold side you’ll get condensation on the walls.  When it drips down it pools. 

Don’t let it do that.  That’s it.  I know some growers don’t care much and the damage may be minimal but I’m a perfectionist and I hate matted down myc,,

I am not sure if this works yet as I am still awaiting pins on my first tubs. But watching BOD's video about spawning to tubs, he mentions patting down the edges when you dump in the spawn and coir, then mixing. When your leveling your surface, he mentions to give a light pat on edges in the tub to help with side pinning. I did this on my tubs, but they are still colonizing. Do you remember doing that? Also, how far along did you get pin set?? Im excited about my tubs

I didn’t and I left exposed grains on top with no liner. I had weak spawn it took me like 17 or 18 days just for pins something in my sub was off though.

Gotcha. I have one tub at 66 qrts, with 1 brick of coir to 3 spawn art jars,. that shit be taking a minute. I have 2 other tubs in smaller tub 32 qrts colonizing much faster

Ya you want almost a 1:1 ratio I believe so that’s why it’s taking so to pin.
