Morchella found in baja ID for species.

my buddy dmppb Found it my back yard on a muddy hill in front of my yard around some ice plants





Habitat:
Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.

clay saturated brown dirt surrounded by

Gills:
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.

no gills

Stem:
Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.

Cap:
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.

white no stripes but more crumbled texture

Spore print color:
Very important!

no spore yet

Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.

no bruising

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Cut it in half long ways and see if its hollow.

Morchella elata is what I would call it. Do Not  eat them raw or undercooked, you can be poisoned if you eat them raw or undercooked.

we boiled it and fried it , tasted it , an it was incredibly delicious

are the bad ones ver y tasty also ?  ha ?

This is Mexico though, so it's Morchella rufobrunnea.

One of the deadliest mushrooms is also one of the most delicious and that is the  Amanita phalloides. You can never use taste alone as a determining factor when it comes to mushrooms.
