If you are calling people who separate based on color racists, then you are jumping the gun, imo.

I don't deny that isolated groups can be separate from their outgroups and peaceful; my point isn't that already separate ethnic groups cannot refrain from violence. Rather, my point is that separation of people in ethnically heterogeneous areas, with the goal of allowing ingroups to segregate, cannot happen peacefully.

Show me a single example of an ethnic population being peacefully removed from an area. One single example.

The establishment of both Utah and Vermont is predicated on multiple massacres of the preexisting indigenous populations. The continued purity of Amish society is predicated on practices that treat outgroups negatively (see: shunning and excommunication). And while the Japanese people may be mostly non-violent in present times, there's no point in denying that Japanese society and government practice are highly discriminative to minority ethnic populations as a method of protecting the ethnic Japanese population.

Beyond that, I'm glad you appear to agree that ingroup favouritism' will have a relationship with 'outgroup derogation'.

But it now seems the two of you have reverted to the age old racist truism that judging people based on the colour of their skin is a normal and reasonable reaction that everyone does, and we should see nothing wrong with it.

Too bad that says more about your own racist mindsets than anything else.

I dont have racist views because i dont view different cultures as necessarily superior or inferior as i previously stated. Everyone does have in group preference and thats determined as a survival mechanism. Race is more than skin color. Thats a really leftist truncation of genetic and cultural diversity. The only way to preserve diversity of peoples is separately. I believe all people and races have a right to exist and continue their genetic and cultural lineage. Multiculturalism leads to no diversity and a blending of all people.

You say discrimination like its a bad word. We discriminate based on family, country, race, sex, age everyday. Discrimination isnt definitively negative in all cases.
Heres one minimum definition of discrimination:
β€œthe act of making or perceiving a difference.” Low threshold right there lol.

Yes, Japan doesn't allow a free for all immigration into their homeland. What's wrong with that policy, it works very good.

Poland refuses to accept migrants from third world nations, again that's a sensible form of discrimination. As a result, Poland doesn't have a migrant crisis like most EU nations.

I'd bet Poland would allow migrants in if they served.  Cannot really have that Island policy.

Japan had a very rough time dealing with the aftermath of World War 2.  We don't want another one of those but at the same time they do serve.  It's a constant shame!

I've known some Japanese girls and it's difficult.  Having had that big fight.

I don't think racial segregation is positive at all. People are supposed to mix and by separating yourself you're just delaying the inevitable. And as shiva pointed out its not natural at all and you would eventually need violence or intimidation to keep your groups separated. I used to think that way as well, until i realized that a lot of my friends were colored and they were just like me. Whenever someone is born into a culture, they adapt to their host cultures. For example a lot of my friends are not white and they embrace Canadian values and act just like regular Canadians... they dont embrace their indian roots or wherever they happened to be from. Integration can happen within one generation. Thats pretty fast isn't it? Its probably a whole lot easier to let people naturally integrate and gradually mix then force segregation

Thats fantasy land. The biggest racial self segration is sundays. Go to any church and see who attends each church by no coercion. Blacks, whites, hispanics and asians all attend their own congregations. They dont kill anyone. No violence. It works. If we were meant to be all one race we would be already instead we have a beautiful genetic and cultural diversity.

Integration huh. Its not integration when you move to a country and vote for policies that made you leave your old country. Its not integration when minorities vote in favor of gun restrictions, race based hate speech laws, and bigger government welfare programs to buy their vote. Integration is coming to a country legally. Learning the language. Respecting the culture.

The people you claim are integrated will be the first ones to run to a new country when AOC takes over and taxes thrm 70%. Those people have no sense of loyalty to their motherland.

No, groups self segregate in the host culture all the time based on race, ethnicity and religion. They also self segregate in religion based on race and ethnicity.

There's no need for violence and intimidation when the segregation is voluntary in nature. The mixing of people based on race, ethnicity and religon is also voluntary in some cases unless the government tries to force it. It's never successful when the barrel of a gun is forcing "integration" on people.

I did not know that. I was thinking of the inter-sectional kyriarchy of oppression model that states that prejudice is the result of power plus privilege. According to this model off oppression members of disadvantaged communities, such as Muhammad Ali, cannot by definition be racist because they "lack the institutional power and privilege" that is required to be racist.
