mushrooms with no sense of direction

ok , a quik question ;

i have some cubensis unkown strain growin in a transparant plastic container inside a fish tank . the thing is they are growing big and all that but they are growing in every direction up down left right you name it. the biggest mushroom i can see growing on the sides between the plastic and the mycelium and its goes zig zag along the sides over 11 cm long , and those who grows up grows like idiots to, i never seen so much bend mushies in my life, i dont think there is more than 5-6 that grows exactly in the right direction. this is by far the first time i grow but this is the first time ive seen anything like this. what could be the reason? i havent done any changes and in the next fish tank i have burmas growing with exact same conditions and they grow well and right.

Maybe if its in a container open to light from all sides, they are growing in every direction, as there isnt a stronger top light to center too.

Purhapes a stronger top light might right this for you.

yeah. maybe this print i grow is from a strain that also is very sensible to light and what direction to grow since it never have been a problem before. well i guess i could just pick them now then cover the sides with something on the fish tank than flush it.

I wouldn't necessarily consider it a problem either.. many times you can get more weight off a shroom the meanders a little :P

? as in unknown strain of cubensis

i just picked it clean and took out almost 60 grams from the sides and 80 from the top and but the plastic container into another non transparant container and hopes for a better flush :smile:

Yeah that lost me too lol.
Lets see if this helps at all. I was thinking, and
another possibilaty might be a bacterial contam playing
with the shroom. This nonseethrough container will let us know
this :thumbup:
