There have been lots of instances of people living from just that injury, much in the way of something someone would describe as horrifically disfiguring or painful, to a near or completely "vegetable" type state. Essentially, shooting yourself is an awful way to fuck up a suicide. Is that the answer you were looking for?

You're young dude. I'm young, so you must be really young. There's going to be a lot of ups and downs in life and when we're happy we realize the sad parts of us owe it to that joy to make an effort. Sometimes I wonder if I'm being sad, or if I'm just giving up on joy, you know? Deep down we want life at our whim so looking at determination is like staring down a mountain. Whether the mountain is 'happiness' or not, it's still a mountain and if all you do is climb, sometimes you're going to park your ass and refuse to move. I think happiness can be like that and there are times we deserve to be weak, but if *we* gave in to that part of ourselves we KNOW that *happy* part of ourselves would call us a bitch, say something funny, and smoke a damn blunt.

Imagine anything you really love to do, and let's say you're not aloud to do it anymore. Someones making you, whatever. In keeping with this motif of *selves*, who would be responding to this paragraph? I know you have something that matters, so there you are.. live and well all along, hiding behind that sad man.

Lota of people think lots of things, go through all kinds of turmoil - in that we're not alone. But I think it's important to remember who we are deep down, what's a front and what's not. Being able to distinguish these and acting/not acting on it is a part of learning to be emotionally balanced and in control of your *self* in spite of those feelings.

If you need help then seek it. If you don't then I only ask for you to let thoughts be just thoughts, and remember that self who is joy. You do have value, and life is worth living.

I’ve done extensive research into the topic of offing oneself with a shotgun and my conclusion thus far is it is the wrong way to approach a subject or matter.

I was watching one of those forensic shows and they were investigating a horrific scene where blood was splattered every where. The guy shot himself in the face, it didn’t kill him but he was blinded and it took him a half hour to reload and finish the deed.

I don't understand why one would put the barrel under ones chin rather than to the roof of the mouth. It is not logical to put an additional barrier between the barrel and an intended target if one seeks to positively hit it.

You are not thinking clearly, therefore this is not a good idea. If you are in this situation, put the gun away and get help now.

One who would put a barrel under the chin is not under sound mind in regard to taking the shot, so it is highly probable that flaws are present in the reason to shoot.

Put the gun away and get help. Fucking call 911 on yourself like I had to do several times in my heart pAtient history.

If you can avoid calling 911, do that to save on cost.

Go to your next door neighbor and explaimn the nature of your emergency.

Get help man, fuck.

If you are asking for a posible future event, no, drop that thought. Stop and get help. Call a friend. Walk the street and smoke out a homeless guy and talk about how vshit life is.

Don't shoot yourself, and certainly not in a not highly thought out manner. It is not ok.

There’s a shromerite who told me a story about his friend taking a shotgun blast to his groin and thigh: didn’t kill him. Didn’t lose anything important but it sounded gruesome as fuck.

That sounds painful as all hell :eek:

Was it a bad breakup?


Think about it, you'd have 27 or so lead pellets cruising in all sorts of trajectories through the tissue, very gnarly. Imagine the surgery involved to fixc that ripped torn mess.

Imagne the cheek being obliterated and the shot not penetrating the skull cavity. I doubt one would have the motivation at that point, cheek remnants dangling from the open throat, to rack and repeat.

Is that graphic enough to dissuade you? Paramedics see that sort of shit, the Internet has pictures. Its not 100% lethal by a mile and the confirmed kills arent instantaneous by a mile.

Don't fucking attempt to kill youself bloodwhip.

Get help.

Success would depend greatly on the ammo chosen. With the correct ammo it will definitely work.  I believe Kurt Cobain pulled the trigger with his big toe.
