its like comparing apples to lazer beams.

Only hope can give rise to the emotion we call despair. But it is nearly impossible for a man to try to live without hope, so I guess that leaves Man no choice but to walk around with despair as his companion.

depends on what you're talking about specifically.

having been to a bunch of both BITD, there was a lot of love and a lot of drugs and rip off artists in both scenes.  there were genuine people that would give you the shirt of their back and there were grifters universally.  there was no shakedown street at a rave, but if you needed a place to crash for the morning after, you'd be about 99% sure of finding one p easy at an early rave.

pros and cons for both, but just really diff scenes.

The thing is I don't know any names besides that one from that time. A friend of mine has some Stark club mix tapes I need to get copies of. I forgot to mention Stark Club! I never went. The one night me and some friends planned to go we got too drunk and decided to go the next night. That was the night of the big raid! We were lucky. Sort of, lol. Club one replaced Stark club, that place was awesome for drugs and weirdness. I remember doing lines of coke on a table out in the club and freaking out, the other person was saying don't worry, we do this here all the time.:eek: Only once did I do that.

thats awesome  tyrannicalrex!

the only thing i got to do in dallas was go to Insomnia/the clubhouse a few months before it got shut down. it was weird/cool to see strippers ending their shift before the party started! some of them even stuck around and there was a couple having sex behind where I was sitting lol

my wife traded acid with a girl in the bathroom!

Deep Ellum scene is coming back with the kids from the people my age that used to go there in the 80-90's. I love that area.
