shoebox in a SGFC

hey, has anyone had any success fruiting from a shoe box that was placed in a SGFC? if so. what did you do to succeed?

Yeh, I've done a few in a SGFC. If you have a SGFC spare, then go for it. I haven't done it enough to figure out optimal conditions and packing. Literally put them inside.

I do bod's SSS instead now.

Shoeboxes are the fruiting chamber they don't need to go in one.

i haven't lurked the site in a very long time, but i have seen shoeboxes mentioned in nearly every thread i read today. what is the deal? what is the point of a shoebox grow

Shoeboxes are a nice compromise in FC. There's less of a chance of losing everything to contamination. They are often easier to store than monotubs.
