probably. it depends how many cakes your going to do. you dont want them smooshed together but they do like to be kinda close, it helps provide a micro climate for them when the mushrooms start growing.

and no exhuast per se but you need to have holes in the tub so fresh air can come in. 1/4" holes spaced 2" apart in a grid pattern all over the whole tub, sides, lid, and bottom. then put a layer of moist perlite about 4 inches deep and set your cakes on tin foil on the perlite

true or false, wax paper works better. tin foil eats away due to a chemical reaction.

thats more a worry for trays. cakes wont try to like colonize the foil in any way they just sit on it.

if you were to spawn in an aluminum tray sometimes people find holes from the myc eating through it or whateve it is that happens but some get away with it too.

Can I fruit outside in nov in ny(terrace). No problem doing it inside tho

If I do it inside I'm not sure about airflow. If I put a usb fan inside blowing outward facing lots of wholes,  think that be alright?

Just make a SGFC and keep it simple. You do not want a fan in your fruiting chamber. Period. You can get passive FAE from a tabletop fan sitting on the other side of the room or even your air conditioner.

You really don't want a fan anywhere near a SGFC. It fucks with the way they function.

That's why I said on the other side of the room. I've never done a SGFC but I figured you just want minuscule and calm air movement. I have my mono in my living room and just keep my thermostat set to 74. Based on Franks's writeups, I have perfect FAE, with condensation just dripping down from the top holes. Thinking about it more OP should just set his thermostat to the proper temp and keep a hands off attitude.
