The call for reports are not exclusive to school time activity, but at any time in life. Simply, the article talks about younger age people, but is not limited to them.

As you can see, not all reported hate crimes include solely teenagers.

Further, as you know, a woman giving a lecture in Europe was fined for criticizing Muhammed.

That little line inspired you to do another post about how you think Europe is goin' down?

Much ado about nothing.  Like the hate speech conviction against the person who put on a seminar or whatever for the sole purpose of slamming Mohamed.

I guess in some parts of Europe, they have determined that maliciously slamming the figurehead of a major world religion is just a social powder keg.  People might freak when you do that.  So there's a law against it.

What if someone went around giving lectures about every single thing your mom ever did that would make people hate her while saying nothing about any virtues she may have?  How would you feel about that?

You know something else they have in Europe that was supposed to be the slippery slope to totalitarianism?  Public health insurance.  Back in the mid 20th century, Ronald Reagan and the rest of Ayn Rand types were telling us all how that will lead to communism.



Fifty years later, Europe is more democratic that America, its population is healthier and people don't go bankrupt from medical bills or put off medical care because they can't afford it.  And the public debt there is in less than America's despite the government paying for the nation's medical bills!

Bah ha!

This crap you post about Europe is just downright weird.  Where are you getting this from?

This is not an isolated incident. If you want me to post references I can. Further, encouragement was mentioned more than one time in the article. You would know that if you had read the article instead of making me post snippets that were already in the OP.

Europe has the luxury of military defense paid largely by the U.S. Further, we aid many countries around the world.

Perhaps if we withdrew our finances from around the globe, we could give our own people what they deserve.

Are you an olympic athlete XUL? Because you can make some superhuman leaps. Granted they're leaps of logic, but that could carry over to physical leaps for all I know.

AFAIK hate speech is pretty specific, regarding an intense consuming dislike of someone or some group and threatening them with physical harm. It's not wishing them run of the mill misfortune.

Hate speech is the precursor to sociopaths snapping and losing their tenuous grips on reality, and taking action to make their fantasies come true.
It's probably a good indicator of a future significant problem. Admittedly that's conjecture on my part but I'd be willing to bet someone like an FBI profiler would agree.

A good analogy is having a 6 or so year old living in your house that really likes to play with matches. If you don't address the situation, it's a safe bet that your house is going to burn down.

edit: Fixed a typo, added clarification, and saw that you'll be back tomorrow. You'd better be back or have a doctor's note on Monday excusing your absence.

It's actually illegal to be homeless in many places in the United States. They arrest people who have no home, and throw them in jail using 'no camping' laws lol.

Freedom is a buzzword in America. We have 25% of the worlds prisoners and 5% of it's population. Honestly, that is truly comparable to the USSR.

You can buy shrooms legally in Germany. The drug laws in Europe are far more lax. We do not have freedom.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

I believe in unfettered free speech. I believe in free speech on the footsteps of powerful institutions, and not corralled into 'zones'. Just like I believe in DRASTIC prison reform. I believe in freedom, which is something we do not have.
