I am currently on day 2,475 (since 1/28/12).  No plan to get high today.  maybe I will eat some shrooms in 198 days (5/24/19).  The last 52 have gone by pretty slowly.

Ayyy! Good shit dude. I'm on day 7 myself. Had to give my body a rest for a while. Been going hard the last few years and I could def feel my organs starting to hurt a bit (liver, kidney's, pancreas, heart etc.). Been craving sweets like a mofo now though but all body pain has gone away which feels good.
Oh and I can't thank kratom enough. Deffinetly makes this alcohol "detox" bearable on the brain

This is probably the longest I've been alcohol free in a few years. I think the last time I was sober for that long was in 2012 or 13. I did something like 30 days and it was a much needed break.

Gonna try to abstain from drinking for at least a few months cause like I said my body really needs it. Not saying I'll never drink again but it def feels good? to be alcohol free for the time being.

Good luck to you on your alcohol sobriety brother! And to anyone else who's trying to abstain from something!

I quit smoking crack in liiike... June I think, cant remember specifically but yeah. Definitely over 100 days though, yeehaw. I went hard on the shit for a little over a year and realized what a heap of garbage I had become, and that was enough motivation to walk away from it and never look back. Aside from that though, the absurdly profound paranoia it induced and the mostly irrational fear of the glass exploding was also overwhelming. I really hate talking about this, it’s the #1 thing I’m ashamed of.. but at least it’s finally all over. Kinda pissed I’ll probably never be able to eat Little Caesar’s food again, but it really wasn’t that good anyway unless if I was making it myself.

This is very important. I've gone days, weeks, and months without Alcohol . And it's been over 5 years since I used weed, and 10 since i've touch any opiates.


It's a simple approach. I'll tell you how I did it. I said that today I won't drink/use any drugs. Tomorrow I might, but today I won't.

And then tomorrow hits, and it's the same thing again.

And then I notice my health, and bank account, and I say it again.

Today I won't use any alcohol or drugs. Tomorrow I might, but not today.
