I believe that the definition of rape/sexual assault has been distorted. Feminists have convinced females that regrettable sex is rape, this is where the confusion emerges.

They have also suggested intoxicated sex is rape, that's also complete nonsense.

So in a high percentage of cases, their version of "rape" is inaccurate. That's where the false allegations come from, a new warped definition of sexual assault.

As far as the case I just posted where no sex even took place?  It's hard to say how common it is, but I suspect it's more common than most people would like to believe.

regarding the term "regrettable sex"

Do you feel this explicitly refers to sex that is regretted after the fact
or do you feel this sentiment may be extended to sex that an individual is pressured into in the first place?

If someone is intoxicated to the point of blacking out, do you consider them capable of consent?
"complete" nonsense seems to imply that you diametrically oppose this view point, but it would be my presumption that you likely have a point of intoxication that is further along than what 'they' argue for

Do you feel their version of 'rape' is then factually inaccurate; or is your complaint here simply that sexual assault has been linguistically crossed with a preexisting term

the latter framework is easy for me to relate to, was physically violated in my childhood, and it slightly frustrates me when public inappropriate gropings are referred to through terminology that places them on the same level
do recognize that being fondled at a concert or something can be enormously degrading and is not excusable behaviour, but do not recognize it as deeply psychologically traumatizing as being violated through forced penetration

the former would require further clarification -- do you feel sexual assault is a category of actions that deserves legal recognition (albeit, not under incorrect terminology of 'rape')
or is your argument here that actions that comprise the category of sexual assault are not valid on the whole?

Rape is also more common than most people would like to believe

Could easily see myself in the shoes of the individual in the story, was hated by the popular girls in my school
and even at one point vaguely threatened (simple stupid "or else" talk) to stop talking to one of the cheerleaders; not by her, we stayed friends for years after we got out of school, but by one of the grade 12 cheerleaders while myself and my friend were in grade 10
was kicked out of the 9th grade because of rumours that were started about me, so it is relatively easy for me to make a mental map of those rumours themselves simply having been different

ultimately tho, what avenue would you like to see taken with regards to rape and sexual assault (recognizing them as separate categories) cases?
