Should we do away with all lawyers?

Would'nt it make the world a better place by eliminating non-producing citizenry? It would also help wealth be distributed more fairly if we eliminated the "bloodsucking" professions.  :thumbup:

I'll be the first to admit that MOST lawyers are blood-suckers.  They are greedy and self-centered and take a lot of money from people to do absolutely nothing at all.  I hate getting a new client who has been burned because it is very embarassing at that moment in time to be an attorney.  Plus, they are usually out of money.    :tongue:

But lawyers are helpful when they do what they are supposed to do.

The legal system is pretty complicated.  You would have to first start with revamping the entire legal system, because for the most part, only a really smart layperson would be able to maneuver it.
