Second Flush BRF cakes to Tin cake pans * 1
    #25462748 -

Here is a picture of the tins I have placed 50% Coir/verm 6 pints of boiling water. Ground up spawn. so 50% spawn 50% substrate. These cakes already completed their first flush but I would like to remove the SGFC from my grow area. I have the paper/tin cover on right now during colonization phase than after a week or so I'll take off the top and place into a humidity chamber. Thoughts? Suggestions? Maybe a humidity chamber is too much.

It's called super spawning and we don't do it because it's not reliable.

Just finish your grow with the SGFC then throw it out or donate it to a friend.

U jumped the gun man. U cant spawn a second-flush grow. Doesnt work like that.

Based on several other posts on this forum its definitly possibly, it ends up getting contaminated much easier and fruits tend to be larger but there are less of them.

It does appear to have been mycelium growth already peeking out of the substrate. I covered all spawn with at least 1/4 inch of sub as well so these puppies are colonizing fast.

Also it's not lopsided like the pictures makes it look.

Possible doesn't mean it's a good idea. It's possible for me to jam a butter knife in my eye.

You would have gotten better yield leaving it alone.

Thanks, I was able to get 4 monotubs started by moving that bulky ass SGFC. Will update during pinset, if it even makes it that far.
