innoculating with old brf cakes

i recently switched from the pf tek to using quart jars of grain.
I used all of my spore material to innoculate six jars yesterday, so i wanted to use my six brf cakes that just stopped producing to innoculate a few more.
Is there a good way to ensure that the brf cakes are contaminant free before i use them to innoculate?
I was thinking about maybe rinsing them with some H2O2, but I'm not sure if this will damage the mycelium. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I?d peel it, dunk in peroxide and then use.

should i dilute the H2O2 at all, or should i just use it straight from the bottle?
also, how long should i soak it for?

If your H2O2 is 3%, then I?d take 1 part peroxide to 9 parts water.

Only short, not more than a minute.
