I could use some out side perspective.

What is the point of an ego death if immediately following the complete chaotic disassembling of one's self, one is met with the realization that one is God?

To go directly from a knowledge that you are the tiniest, insignificant piece of nothing to the mind blowing fact that you are everything?

I mean, isn't that the most insane form of ego? To believe that you are equal to a God.

If you've had a similar experience, what did you take away from it?

I just feel like a walking contradiction now. Does this mean my ego death didn't take lol?
Should I kill it again or just accept the fact that I am a God?

What do you guys think?

Because pleasant of even ecstatic psychosis is better than negative or hellish psychosis.

It seems stupid because ego death is a terrible name for it. It implies and imposes too many common connotations to it. I have no idea why people keep spreading it as a good term, aside for those who fully understand the metaphor behind it.

The ego is your shell-self, like an egg that some happen to bother poking their noses out of. “Ego death” is the chipping away at said shell, and the Oneness to be found is the light on the other side of it. This isn’t a contradiction. The contradiction is your assumption ofnyour understanding. Assuming understanding is the beginning of where we plant our feet, rather than carrying onward as we did before.
