Helping ovoid prints hatch?

I have an ovoid print and I've been trying to get them started on dme agar,but they do nothing there. Is there some special tricks to try with these?

Can i ask what that is? Im curious, never heard of it b4. Well i just looked it up so nvm lol

Id suggest making a syringe with the print to hydrate the spores. Then use spore solution on agar.

I know me and a few members here had the same issue. The
only way I have EVER been able to get ovoids to germ, was
to hydrate the spores in a syringe for a couple days and
went straight to BRF cakes or WBS jars. As soon as I seen
growth I transferred to agar to clean it up. Good luck

Im going to try the brf cakes.  I haven't been able to get mine to germinate either.  I've tried 3 or 4 different agar recipes and straight to grain.  All after hydrating in a syringe.
