General help with Mushroom extraction

Im drawing up some plans for extracting mushrooms based on the PF extraction tek and have some general questions which i cant seem to find straight answers for.

1- Does psilocin crystallise?
  • i know psilocybin does but i haven't seen anything confirming or denying the status of psilocin



2- What is a "pump powered bottle top filtering tunnel" and how can i make/get one?

  • it was mentioned in the extraction tek as a method of separating the crystals from the liquid


3- What desiccant should i use to dry the extract and how do i use it?
  • this was also mentioned in the tek as a way to completely dry the crystalline extract- "Place the small vessel of liqueur into a larger jar with quality desiccant" i know what desiccant is but im not sure if i should just put silica packets or something in the jar

Psilocybin extraction is not simple if u want pure crystals. U will need some chemistry skills to pull it off.

The pf extraction tek doesn't work and if it does that is not going to be alkaloids but various other salts with traces of alkaloids. Don't do that, there's no point.

You can do an alcohol extraction, which is crude, or an a/b like mescaline, dmt, etc. Google psilocin isolation, you should find a writeup on erowid that includes a dephosphylation step to convert the psilocybin to psilocin (psilocybin will not go into an organic solvent so that is necessary for an a/b).
