I dunno, but here's an interesting study on bias and how self-identification as part of one group or another can affect it.  I know it says "mixed race" but it's talking about groups composed of multiple "races" not individuals.

You want to quantify an individual persons privilege based on a quantity of DNA?
How about Five DNA's give you nine privilege?

If you really need an answer like that. I suggest you stop looking, if you are really looking. You're not going to find it.

If you are curious and open to the prospect that in much of the world whites have have gross advantages in wealth, employment opportunities, living standards and other categories. The evidence isn't hard to find. In fact the more you dig, the more you find. There's layers upon layers of it.

I didn't create the term white privilege. I am just asking how much white in a family gives privilege.

That's not even relevant.

The whole point of the white privilege thing is to get white people to hate themselves. That's why no-one can answer a straight question about whether Jewish privilege exists.

Multiple people have. "Jew" privilege doesn't exist, but if they're white, they have white privilege. Wealth doesn't come into play here, that's class privilege. Even a white person in poverty has white privilege. He is a less privileged white person, but still white.

As far as the "point of white priviledge is to get white people to hate themselves", white privilege is a tool that some people like to use to get white people to feel shame. That doesnt mean theyre right, and it doesnt mean white priviledge doesnt exist.

So if any person with white in their family tree get special treatment, they have white privilege.

I just wanted to make sure mixed families had white privilege too.

It has a lot more to do with how white they look and how people treat them as result, than what is in their family tree.

Perhaps he's hoping I mistakenly say "yes, it's about looks", and he says "but you can't determine looks from a person's first name on a resume"!

It's not about winning.

It's about hashing out details.

Identifying the threshold ow what it means have white privilege.

There are so many different definitions of it. In fact, the definition you provided me in the other thread differs from other definitions I have heard.

I experienced institutional racism once when I got pulled over and I was the only white guy in the car. Cop was all, "Are you in a gang? Are you a tagger?" I was like, woh woh buddy I'm white in case you couldn't tell!

Maybe white people are treated better because everyone knows that white people are less likely to steal, rape, rob, lie etc.

Some are.  Some are more likely.  Skin color isn't the determining factor.

Have you ever considered the possibility that some black people become anti-social because society is so anti-black?
