Not once have I said I'm ok with my kids tripping, the thread went down this road because of the claims that it was harmful. Am I a person willing to test it out on my children? No. I keep everything in a safe. Do I think it's a good idea to take drugs before the age of 21? No. I started at 15 and I've been dealing with addiction and depression since the age of 19. All I'm saying is IF a child happened to trip at any age, I don't think it would cause any long term damage... And there are no studies to say that mushrooms would cause damage. All I am saying is that growing mushrooms or even mary j is significantly different then cooking meth or having cocaine or heroine in the house.

Also everyone will know you grow shrooms. Once your kids find them (the will one day), everyone will know. We all knew who's parents grew weed. Shrooms would be similar. Maybe say they're shiitake or something medicinal so they would spread rumors of nothing incriminating.

If you live in a climate where you can do a stealthy outdoor woodlover grow, you should just do that in a corner of the garden or better yet all over neighborhood.

Once you get started, the risk is seriously minimized compared to maintaining a grow in your house.

Option #2 definitely has a significantly smaller risk. It doesn't have to be stored in the house for weeks at a time or could potentially be bought locally. Peruvian Torch or San Pedro would do the trick.
