Cancer treatment isn't elective, but it can be refused. Elective treatments aren't medically necessary.

I hope everything works out for you OP. Sounds like you know it's what you want so best of luck to you.

On another note, I have never had surgery outside of stitches but I have seen some because my mom is an RN. Couple things I've read are 100%. The area can get a little smelly, which really is understandable. You won't be able to experience it but there are definitely some surgeons and anesthesiologists that love to blast music.

The only thing I want to add it to make sure you do EVERYTHING the doctors say for the recovery process. Such an invasive surgery is going to be "traumatic" on your body. Stay hydrated, take your antibiotics, use any cream or topical ointment, and for the love of gosh, take those days off you are going to need to and be as immobile as possible. Also, don't take that twat out for a test ride until you are completely healed. Sounds like common sense I know but just because it's looking good outside doesn't mean the inside is all settled.

Apolly my opinion is: surgery is not fun. It is not cute. It is not exciting. It fucking hurts. It fucking sucks. I do not recommend surgery to anyone if they can avoid it.

It's especially gonna fucking suck if they won't prescribe you opiates. I have a good idea of what's involved in that kind of surgery and you're gonna be in a shitload of pain. For at least the first couple days you won't be doing shit for yourself. You won't be going to the bathroom, probably at all, and once you do you'll need help. And every step will be painful. Using the muscles you need to go to the bathroom will be painful. Excruciating without proper pain killers. Sorry I know you probably don't want to hear that but it's ridiculous to make people believe it's gonna be all sunshine and rainbows.


In the states, at least, ICU treats you like fucking royalty. Standard recovery is relatively nice too.
Food depends on the facility. Breakfast is almost always subpar, the other meals tend to be okay.

I just had surgery on my shoulder and even though it was laproscopic it fucking HURTS and is taking a lot of recover time . Idk what the pain is going to be like for your procedure but I doubt it's a walk in the park. Do what you gotta do to make you happy being yourself . Good luck :hug:

honestly, MOST reports you read it's not that bad
after the initially couple days
Thats how I'd sum up the average of all the reports
shit sucks bad for like a few days
then you are able to deal.

Unfortunately, I can't transmit how profound realizing you need
this surgery to be happy is.

Yeah, and it really isn't straight up that anymore, there's way more technique to it than there was in 1950
And the thai method isn't penile inversion AT ALL
as none of the penis gets inverted into the abdomen for that method
