Cased WBS and harvest times (post pinning)? Pics

I am on a 6 qt WBS cased in coir/verm/oyster of Burma. It seems like it is taking a long time for the pins to get their asses going and start growing upwards faster. My last Bumra grow cased of PF cakes seems like it went a lot faster. Is there any difference in harvest times (after pinning) between PF and WBS? Anyone else have this happen? It is frustrating because I am supposed to have people over for harvest on saturday and I don't think it is going to happen now. I have people coming from a few hours away to partake in the fresh mushies. The 8th The 9th Today, the 10th Am I over analyzing?

Looks like most of those pins are starting to abort. The slow growth and the black heads are signs. Some seem fine, bot others dont.

I really don't think any of them are getting dark and aborting. This is usually the color that the Burmas are at this stage. I just don't understand why they are going so slow. My first Burma grow has pins that were the same color and they turned out great.

Oh ok, If there usually that color then your probly fine there. Those mushies should be much bigger with 3 days on them. There is something wrong because millet grows pins just as fast, and way bigger shrooms than BRF and verm.
What are your temps? How much light are you giving them? Whats the RH?

This casing layer looks pretty dry to me. Doesn't help for sure.
Do you have a lot of air exchange?!
Once I see the pins, it takes around 6-7 days for me to mature. Maturation is always slower at first and gets a lot faster during the last 2 days.
Good luck..

Temps about 70F when the lights are off, about 75F when on. 9 hours of light, I am unsure of the RH, but it should be just fine cause it is in the same conditions as my last casing which did wonderfully.
Air exchanges are three times a day. I'll give it a little water. I usually have pins to product in 5 days. That is why I am so confused? I thought WBS was supposed to be awesome, but it is giving me hell!

As long as it's growing, you're on the right path. Every grow is different in my opinion. I get pins anywhere between 3 to 9 days, usually 6 or 7. Sometimes they take 5 days to fully mature and some other time 7 days.
And welcome aboard. I'm having nothing else than problems with WBS. I quit this grain and returned to corn. Now i'm also trying rye and it works much better than WBS, at least for preparation and colonization.
Good luck with this tray and hope it turns at least half as good as your last time. It will still be a major success!

I didn't have any trouble with prep or collonization of the WBS. This is the first problem I have had of any sort. Hopefully the water will help, I guess I will know tomorrow morning if it helped.
I am starting to think my 3 quarts of PF is going to be better! Hopefully the WBS will prove me wrong. Thanks Fish.

Update: Everything is working out, after soaking my casing layer the shrooms are growing again, no aborts either. Don't ask me how. Updated with pics in the grow log. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...;o=&fpart=1
