Acid Rap...interesting.

I used to listen to some Underground and there was some psychedelic tracks. Especially by Living Legends and Illogic. Those lyrics are a mind trip! :eek:

Living Legends even made a track about shrooms. forgot the name thou. So cool :mushroom2:

I know people will totally disagree with me on this, but I still find electronic music to be the trippiest type of music to listen to while under the influence of a psychedelic. I'm not saying its the "best" tho, and I'm also referring to electronic music outside the "EDM" realm. Having said that, I love listening to all kinds of music, from jazz, to traditional folk music, to an assortment of video game music

Gonna re-iterate acid rap here and say that if you don't want to listen to the whole album (even though there's quite a psychedelic storyline if you listen all the way through) the three songs i urge you to listen to at the very least are Acid Rain, NaNa, and Pusha Man

I find rap sounds far too hollow while tripping, I think its because I read into music hard while tripping. On MDMA rap/hip hop is one of my go-to'.

Just can't listen to any Electronic music and rap is plenty electronic and usually a good dose of some demeaning lyrics... that type of shit gets me down...:nojustno:

Its interesting how different peoples views on transcendental music is. I have the utmost respect for Bowie and enjoy some of his music but at the end of the day, a lot of the sounds utilized are very similar and I look for something with a more alien tone. Same goes for a lot of older jam, I still love it, but sometimes I wanna hear sounds that I've never heard before.

Nobody would call Pink Floyd electronic music but I think the use of synths and pedals give them a much more varied sound, one thats much more eclectic and certainly more "electronic". It's more layered and textured, and just straight up strange

Like 15-20 musicians on stage absolutely tearing shit up, 3 bassists, 3 full sized drum sets/ drummers, 3 guitarists, piano and synth players and a massive horn section.

The song name is incredibly fitting, they are like one giant single minded organism making some of the tightest music ever. Powerful stuff :crazy2:

Also there are like 9 minutes off bass solos in that tune :awesomenod: Including some behind the head playing :lol: Man I love those crazy guys :heart:
