That was just the way I understood it back when I was reading about it. I could be wrong, that's why I added the "I believe" part in there. The scientific aspects aren't really my forte.

I used monotub with vermiculte. Yes, they are dry I was away for three days and didn't get to mist them. I've been misting 4 times day.

Instead of tubs/bins/containers, I'm trying to grow them in ziploc bags.

Take this... well frankly take it however you want, but aimless speculation isn't really something that people here respond well to..

I feel you on that, and my bad for the mistake. I probably had read some out of date article that i got my info from. If anyone ever sees anything I'm wrong about, please by all means correct me. If not, I may never learn and I'd rather be corrected than to keep doing shit wrong or giving bad info. You will notice tho, anytime I'm not sure about something, I'll add in the "I think" or "I believe."

Well shit mang. Next time remember:
If you boil the shrooms you will be alright
If that is what you are in fact worried about the contams.

What did RR always say; that nobody has ever gotten sick from eating moldy bread. Penicillin nature's cure for the sick.

When i started growing and eating i thought one of the vendors poisoned me
Not a fun night...well yes it was. When in doubt throw it.

I'm doing it the other way around, my ziploc bag is holding the shrooms.

I'm using them to grow mushrooms, not colonize.
