Andrew cuomo wrongfully connecting anti Zionism divestments with anti Semitism

Completely disgusting executive order coming out of NYC that disregard our free enterprise and free will. And better he's willfully using a false argument to defend his initiative.

These divestments are supported by a large number of Jewish members and is specifically against any anti Semitic acts.


But here we see again as Israel is ousted as a oppressor who violates global laws they use he tired victim card and play a false defense of anti Semitism when clearly even the Jewish community supports the BDS movement.

I'm glad hey are being exposed for what they are and again clearly the divestment is anti Zionism and not anti Semitic

Andrew cuomo passed an executive order claiming anyone participating in the BDS divestment movement which has been crippling Israel through economic boycotts, be boycotted from all business in New York State. A clear violation of our free enterprise

Furthermore he's using a false pretense for his defense

Israel being ousted as an oppressor towards Palestine and not simply a defender any longer in public opinion. They play the false anti Semitic defense when even Jewish members supporting BDS divestment claim themselves this anti Zionism not anti Semitic.

Executive order recently signed by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo directing all state business to boycott any businesses that have signed up with the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement is a clear violation of free speech principles and could be unconstitutional.

From the Saudi gazette


This is a violation and I'm glad many others see it for what is and this is happening the strengthen the BDS movement

By using this as an opportunity to show his false logic


The BDS is and always been an anti Zionism divestment of Israeli Zionists and affiliated corporations. It has always had support of Jewish members from all over and have continually professed this is no where near anti Semitic.

It is incredibly dishonest for cuomo to impede our free enterprise especially using false defense such as the anti Semtic card which the BDS couldn't stand more against if they tried.

The executive order requires the New York State Office of General Services to create a blacklist of institutions and companies involved in the BDS movement “using credible information available to the public” and make that list available to everyone online. All state agencies will be required to divest from such companies, which will have to submit written evidence to appeal to be removed from the list.

Regardless of one’s position on BDS, the order could be concerning because it ultimately requires the blacklisted institutions to prove their own innocence – the burden of proof will be on them to prove they are not BDS supporters – or else face repercussions, and it punishes companies on the basis of their political beliefs. This is an effort that could seriously threaten free speech.
