Oh I get it now! I think I'll rig up my car like midgets do so I can teach him to drive NOW! As soon as he demonstrates responsibilty with the car and I am supervising we will go out onto the freeway.

How about "anti gun rights" list. I dunno,it just sounds a little less propoganda-ish.

Once when my little brother was 7 years old, he used a stick at recess at his school to mimic a gun and was playing 'pretend' with some classmates.

He was seen, hauled out of recess and yelled at, and sat in the principles office for several hours crying until my mother was notified and had to come pick him up. The school board even had a meeting and it was suggested that my little brother, see a theripist for mandatory sessions before school. Because of a stick and a little boys imagination.

Doesn't this seem a bit overboard to anyone? He was SEVEN!! Shit, even I played pretend like that at that young age. I hate that school district.

I have no interest in owning a gun, and don't see myself ever wanting one, unless at some point I decide to take up hunting. Just because I don't want something doesn't mean that you or someone else shouldn't have it, but a gun causes a bit of a different situation because of how badly it can be misused. I still don't think that this means that guns should be outlawed, but I feel that there is definitely a need for background checks, and regulations on who can own guns.

I will never buy a gun because I couldn't handle it. I get psychotic and depressed a lot and I'd probably kill someone or myself eventually.  :cool:

Well the the first org on your list is a great union that helped ALSO fund some antifree-trade rallies I went to, so I hardly see how they are anti-freedom, maybe they just dont like the fact that every year americans kill 15,000 other americans?

we have these laws on the books, simple enforcement is all that's needed. Imagine what would happen in society if every numbnut that thought it was a good idea to leave a loaded gun in the reach of a little kid actually got punished for doing what they did instead of somehow blaming it on society or worse yet, environmental upbringing.

What about parents who teach there kids about guns by murdering them when they get laid off.. It seems to happen all the time now.. I'll say it opnce and I'll say it again.. More guns=More people getting shot and more people who shoot other people.. I wish people would just get rid of them as no good has ever come of them..

I used a BB gun (spring loaded) when I was younger, it could easily get through a wooden fence. As far as being sheltered goes, I played with these things but my parents certainly didnt know or approve but I wasn't 6 either.

I had some kind of Russian made air rifle when I was younger,and that thing would go throught my fence like butter at like 30 yards.
It might as well been a low powered 22. If someone got shot with that thing close range with the right pellets,it would have done some damage.
