Cubes are a tropical species so there is a point where they won't grow at all an just go into stasis. But that generally doesn't happen until around 15 C or so. We tell people who are able to maintain a temp above that not to worry for two reasons.

First if the temps spike then you risk bacterial blooms and thermal death of the mycelium.

The second is that it's generally assumed most people can maintain a reasonably comfortable temp in their homes. 10 C is not what most people are going to feel comfortable in.

I feel like I just defaced an ancient artifact by throwing in that warning but... it needed to be done.

Dude you just gotta keep up with the times. We are trying to steer you in the right direction here. All you really have to do for cakes though is search PF Tek. There are even a series of free videos by RogerRabbit that you can watch through. If you've already watch the videos, watch again. Hammer this shit into your head so if you come across shitformation again you'll be self aware and not end up making an incubator for your TiT terrarium which is covered in a heating pad that you sprayed down with lysol. (That was all wrong, so don't take that as a suggestion )

What?  Fanning 2-3 times a day will give you terrible terrible fruits.  The standard is much higher now than it was then.  Anybody can grow crappy unhealthy fruits in anything.  I don't see the point in coming here just to learn how to do things like a book said to 30 years ago, with subpar results.  If we're going to be useful and stand out against the sea of bullshit these things need to be pointed out.

I have to say though, the TiT terrarium was the best noob move I've seen yet. Wrong in so many ways, but we all know EXACTLY what you were thinking when you were doing that.

It just proves that you aren't allowed to think for yourself until you get past the basic concepts of cultivation. Follow the teks. Newer than 3 years. To a tee. That is all.

A tub in tub incubator set at the mid 60s (F) to hopefully get the inside of the jars to about 68-69F would probably work.
Ive used these in the cold and they do hold a very steady temp, you just want to keep the jars uo off the bottom of the tub so they aren't heated directly.

Won't help for fruiting tho.. a spacer heater dialed in by using a timer would do the trick.

I think the heater is a good spot for it, allows for air movement under the tub. Just don't turn on the heater, and if you need to use it for a cold night it needs to heat the room not the tub.

And whatever is wired in there, ditch it. You don't need it that stuff only complicates things and makes you second guess the tek.

Ok so take it off the heater, use it to heat room, remove stupid temperature probe. Check
