Easiest Way To Grow Mushrooms

What's the easiest way I can grow mushrooms? Can I simply get horse shit, or dog shit or something and just inject spores into it?.. I am really interested and wanted to order Golden Teacher spores. Is this a good strain to grow? How long does it take? I really dont want to go threw that whole process of the jar birthdaycake setup. I can't spend to much time on this Im not living alone at the moment. It has to be like a little project in my closet... Please help any advice would be appreciated

hey man!
well it is very possible to grow shrooms on shit with spores injected into them, but from what i read, contam is very easy and not only that you need to temprate control them to get 84-86 degrees at all times with no change.. if you want to take this seriously id do the cake method and get yourself some jars to risk wasting your money on contam spores, hope i helped :smile:

Listen to Anno. There is a wealth of information out there. All you need to do is take some time and look it up. Almost any question you have has probably been asked before, so check out the FAQ's or try searching for a specific item. It works for me. :smile:

First of all, forget the dog shit. I wish it was that easy.
If you really want low maintainence, stealth growing, go
to www.sporeworks.com an buy you a mycobag or four.
No jars, no cooking, no terrarium, no humidity to monitor,
and they don't even absolutely have to be incubated at 84.
They will take longer at cooler temps but will grow. One
month later, you'll have shrooms! If you spend this month
wisely(studying the shroomery), by the time you have spores,
you'll know what to do with them.
Hope that helps, it's the easiest way I've seen.
