precisely, as i said, it will work, just don't expect the best results... from experience using one of those PMP set-ups (picked it up from Just_Me as he wasn't using it at the time, and the trays i was doing at the time fit perfectly into it...), you don't want anything that is going to have a puddle of water with a grate over it.  Mush grow through the grate, and whether or not they do, you end up with bits of shit that you don't want floating around in the water.  This just leads to contams.  You have to clean the shit out of it between flushes, which gets hard when you have many things that are going at different time-frames...  anything with a puddle in the bottom like that is just asking for frustration.

SFHC did not work well for me... lack of heat/moisture

I used a fish tamk very successfully years ago, I didn't drill any holes

I thought shroom growers advocated patience? :tongue:

In my country 'later' usually means in the days ahead but asides culture barriers here we are:

ps I had to wait on a friend taking the photos otherwise you would have seen them 'later' in your understanding of the word!





I had 2" of perlite in it. The ambient temperature of the room was around 22C/72F.

Can someone with more expereince tell me why those muchrooms look a little... umm. weird. I mean, they look like they are doing what they are supposed to but for some reason they don't look as healthy as other flushes I have seen.  What is going on with this fellas grow??? They look like a sick kid holding his hand out for an antibiotic...

FC looks improper, which leads us to believe that FAE is lacks, as well as the "fuzzy feet" (indicating improper FAE). looking at the misdirection, we could also conclude insufficient light source. mutants and dis-form-it-es will happen as they please.
