i have found h2o2 does nothin to green mold i would suggest better air exchange and pasteur ization of your casing these things solved my green mold(trichoderma ?)probs

Some people use potting soil it works, they never have reports of contiams. make sure of good air exchange and me sure you let the air settle. spraying the air with bleach or lysol is good to, but always turn off the a/c and let air settle. dont put casings to close to the floor, try to raise a little or spray floor well.

if potting soil never contams why doesn't evryone use it there is no mention that i remember in any of stamets books about it?

so should i keep the bubble stone on right at the start or should i wait and should i keep it on all the time and ive been using 50/50 peat most i was going to use pottng soil but it would clup up when weT???

Make sure your peat moss is clean of all dabree (twigs and such), maybe ad some lime to adjust the ph, and microwave/bake/pressure cook it. that should help prevent it. should.....

My buddy had 4 of his casings to get contaminated ,and he used potting soil.From what i've read keep your humidity around 85% and fan atleast 2 times daily is a good way to prevent green contamination.And make sure your cake is 100% colonized inside and out,if not I suggest you wait or your chances of contams are twice as much

My friend also tried the sos method, too many times, and it sucked. She didn't get contam that much, but she hardly got any mushrooms either. She tried casing with 1 1/2 cup verm + 1 1/2 cup soil on the bottom, then 3 cups soil on top (shroom wizards tek)He says three cakes, but she tried two and three, and two works too. She got a nice first flush, but the second flush is being a pain in the ass and she's still working on it. She also used the PF/MMGG and even though it's been pretty steady, the first and second flushes are very sparse and don't compare to the first flush off the casing. Of course with the PF spore it's completly different, but Equadors seem to do well cased.
