Bushism of the day

To lighten things up here, I've decided that I'll add a new "Bushism" each day. Here's today's:
"I mean, there needs to be a wholesale effort against racial profiling, which is illiterate children."
Feel free to add your own.

This is my all time favorite:
"There's an old saying in Tennessee ? I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee ? that says, fool me once, shame on ? shame on you. Fool me ? you can't get fooled again." ?George W. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002

A swing and a miss from Dubya the Philosopher...
"There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once -- shame on -- shame on you. You fool me, you can't get fooled again. "

That's crazy, you beat me to it!!!
Here's another one
If America goes to sleep, the rest of the world is in trouble. If we blink, the rest of the world will close their eyes. So we're not blinking, and we're not going to sleep.

Well, I think if you say you're going to do something and don't do it, that's trustworthiness. I have a different vision of leadership. A leadership is someone who brings people together. I was pleased to hear that many of the airports up east are beginning to have flights leave, and that's good.

The nightmare has only begun. Even if a Democrat gains the Whitehouse in 2004, the new powers given and those relinquished to the executive branch will not be given up. I would expect the Democrats to use the new tools at their disposal as much or if not more than The Bush administration.
-------------------- To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.' Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence. Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.
