people in society get offended by people who don't want any part, because they are needed...just needed.

isn't that sad?

someone who works at walmart for years at minimum wage and complains how it should be higher IS a loser

That's the type of person we are talking about

and you are a right, there ARE a good handful of such losers on these boards

every job should have an auto promotion built into it, if you work at walmart for 10 years, at the 10 year mark you should instantly because manager of that store or something nice like that, then u run another 10 years and they transfer you to whole foods or some shit.

At the very least you should get an increasing discount at that place for years of service, and increasing benefits.  Also it should be much harder for people to get fired, they shouldn't get to window shop employee's and fire them for dumb shit, or non dumb shit but greedy shit like firing you because you've gotten to many raises....that shit should get u sued.

Loser generally indicates lower, "lesser" because of their "work" ethic and position in life.

It's just sad that you feel like you need to say that kinda crap, when a good sized handful of the people you claim to care about here probably make minimum wage.
It's just thoughtless and inconsiderate, and makes you look pretty bad.

No.  I doubt any of the people here who I give a shit about make minimum wage.  They aren't idiots

you should of saw my thread on "homelessness".  bums were lit up!

I'm not sensitive to that shit in the slightest.  I've lived hardships and I never gave up.  Never became a junkie or someone who lives off others

I don't have respect for anyone in north america who makes nothing of themselves and then has the gall to complain and whine on top of it.  Fuck that shit. lol

I know who you're talking about.
The bottom line is that labeling someone a loser because they haven't snagged a
promotion and/or work for minimum wage is a false superiority kind of thinking that literally needs to die off.

We can't all get what we want.

see, that's sensible. not what i'm referring to.

this explains it nicely

The only truth I've heard
Is the truth that I've spoken myself
A pack of lies is all I get from
Anybody else
Experience shows me I'm right
Deceit is the only game in sight
So be careful what you choose to
Believe

You can't believe in nothing
Insane to trust in anything
So I don't trust in no one but myself

What happened to your honesty
Did it take a back seat to your greed
Forgotten cause you've found out you
Need to live a lie
And if you question why you have a
Future without security
Just fear and lies and terror
No one can tell you why

Synthetic creatures ordered and
Numbered
Unsympathetic to everyone
Death of intelligence and emotions
Preordained from death to day one

Lost trust in the future
Lost faith in prophecies
Lost truth in government promises
Lost hope for honesty

Ive been working since i was 10. Dad started a business ran flyers door to door, hauled the buckets. My dad literally made me do the heavy labor. Went from 200$ jobs in an hour to 14k$ in 2 days. But he decided to become a crackhead and threw it all away. Ive helped build cabins worked 8 hour days shovelling and moving rocks. All before i was even 16.

I have never had a gap longer than 2 months in my resume. I love working. It feels good to accomplish a goal and damn straight i fucking love money.

I do see a lot of people that have poor work ethic and I'm the one taking over. Pick it up man lets go. Work ethic has nothing to do with being trapped in a shitty environment.

maybe people don't want to have to compete against whole corporations? maybe they want to spend more time doing thing that aren't subject to that pressure and that upkeep?

as a person is not relevant to the size of any corporation, so people are forced to rise the occasion just to what? say that they did it? maybe some people aren't interested in simply making money...maybe some people get their learning and memories and pleasure and Dopamine somewhere else.

no one should complain if they're working...you're busy.

hey Zappa what do you think of that at the top of the page?

yeah, the poem is bleak. pretty fuckin' bleak. i especially like

"And if you question why you have a

but that just follows up everything else

"Deceit is the only game in sight

"The only truth I've heard

"What happened to your honesty

oh yeh remember the great recession? Well it seems in just bout every sector had to tighten the belt which meant there was basically a wholesale gutting of middle of the road jobs coupled with a fat trimming overseas outsource of lower level entry positions. As the fatcats added more and more bodies to the unemployed pile it caused literal panic as peoples entire dreams have been shattered. now they are realizing the revolving door employment tactic actually saves more money than paying people that work hard more when theres a vast pool of losers who are trying jus about anything they can do to move up in a world that cant learn from its own mistakes. look at that loser handing out resumes with a sign on the street. what a bum i bet hell end up flipping burgers in spokane or whereever the fuck what a pitiful schulb

I worked minimum wage for a year. I also scored 97th percentile on standardized tests (not that this is much to brag about, just saying I'm not stupid) and have moved on to a trade. Am I an idiot and/or loser? Or was I just a loser when I worked minimum wage while learning a trade and stopped being a loser when I found a better job? What about the job I worked before the min wage job where I made 1.25 more? Was I a loser then? What is the loser cutoff point? 1 cent over min wage? a dollar? three dollars? ten dollars?
