That's where you are wrong and that's where you prove to me you are still attached to the nipple
You are born into a jungle(urban or not, suits or loin cloths, it's all the same)
But you are born and obviously raised to expect people to take care of you. Give you more because you have it oh so hard
Society didn't fuck you. You and you alone are responsible for your workforce destiny
Grow a spine and stop fucking yourself

lol no. It's not the same, if you really think so go move to the actual jungle and see how you fare.

It's already been established that low level jobs will be automated. There aren't enough higher lever jobs for everyone. I didn't say anything about society fucking anyone. I said we live as a society, and therefore are not like jungle dwellers. As a result, we can make a choice to not say fuck these people.

You obviously struggle with metaphors so I will spell it out for you
...if you can't rise up and earn the $ amount you need for a comfortable life, whether that's high paying or not, it means you don't have what it takes and will ultimately be eaten by the system. But it's no ones fault but your own. You chose that path. No one fucked you. You can use mental issues, physical issues or whatever as a scapegoat but it's always a cop out.
If you flip burgers for years on end while claiming how much life sucks and how you deserve a higher wage...get fucked
That's the bottom line

It was worse 10-15 years ago, minimum wage was $5 but good weed was still $300+/oz
Major brands (Camel, Marlboro) of cigarettes were about half the minimum wage, though, whereas now even the value/discount brands are more than that. Gas is relatively a little cheaper with the recent drops, and good produce is relatively cheaper too with the boom of farmer's markets (/traders) Meat about the same price but quality might be a little better, and availability certainly so.
But however worse it could be I agree with your sentiments.

No one cares about your cliche metaphor. The fact is it is a bogus metaphor because modern society is nothing like the jungle.

Once again, what about when low level jobs are automated and it is literally impossible for everyone to rise up or even have any type of job at all?

I'm surprised San Francisco isn't on there.
It tends to be more expensive than NYC (not Manhattan, though).

Only u can't grasp the simple cliches. Which is why you probably flip burgers
Those who want and can rise up will, those who can't/don't want to, won't. Simple
You and you alone are in control of your destiny. Nothing says you have to stay where you are born.
There was a time where someone had to beg for a job, to be payed peanuts, and he was grateful for it. Grateful knowing he was working. That man may not even eat lunch at work so his kids could eat
Now you have some 21 lifer in the grocery isle stalking shelves going "this is bullshit. I deserve this, I deserve that"
Get bent
It's never enough either, especially for the new self entitled generation

Exactly. They will build robots, and low-level jobs will be automated. There won't be enough higher level jobs to match the workforce. I asked you what are we going to do with the extra workforce.
My point being that this idea that people just need to work harder and they will make it to a decent living is bogus now and absolutely false in the near future.

Kick out the fucking illegals and the workers can get jobs in construction and in real restaurants that cannot be automated.

It's a shame you have to take two jobs to make it in this country right now. I mean that is if you wanna save up money and stuff for a car and for your own place. We can't exactly say it's the politicians fault because we outnumber them and we did nothing ourselves to fix this system.

It isn't that simple. The population is too large for the number of jobs available now and in the future it will be even more so.
Cry a little more about the new generation grandpa. You're full of cliches aren't you?

There still won't be enough jobs. The population is only going to keep growing. They will automate far more than just fast food jobs. We can't just keep constructing forever there is limited space and resources. This idea that everyone has to work menial bullshit jobs in order to "deserve" basic living necessities is unsustainable.

It is that simple. How can you not grasp the idea that if you aren't good enough or skilled enough to get into the winners circle...you don't belong there and it's no ones fault but your own
The sad fact is im not even that old. I can see even people my own age who are complete losers. I see it A LOT more in you younger generation

You bring up a good point, anyone at a bad (to work at) restaurant should try their hardest to be the best worker they can be, and get a job at a better restaurant. Even my dishwashers start out at 25c above minimum for a 60 day trial after which I can raise it 50c (to 75c above min). It's nowhere close to a 5 or even 4-star restaurant either, just a slightly upscale kitchy diner. Sous chefs at real 5-star places can earn a lot.

The idea isn't difficult to grasp. The fact is it is bullshit as I've explained more than once now. You are the one seemingly failing to grasp that concept.
So what if there are losers? Even people with work ethics and "backbones" will be screwed when there isn't enough work for them to do.

How many cooking shows are on TV with talented chefs just begging to get some scrap of a job. What percentage of the chefs are actually on those shows? There aren't enough of jobs and too many chefs. It's the same with most professions.
