We get 'coached' if we go over hours, four ccoachinbs is a fireing. I work in the mid 30's of hours a week. It's hilareous they said to 'take overtime' on our Compiter stuff they make you go through for two daus and every few months

I think it was $2.15 and no I didn't live off of it.  It was my summer job.  By the end of the summer I had gotten two raises.  After that job I had a skill and got paid significantly better.  Only total fucking losers make minimum wage after a short period of time when they first enter the work force.  Total.  Fucking.  Losers.

idk if you could have like decent food in the fridge a roof over your head a pot to piss in internet, a phone these are basic things in 2015 everyone is expected to have add a car and idk if u could do it on minimum wage without working redic hours and eventually jus getting screwed over and trapped in a debt cycle when shit breaks

good luck gettin a raise in a minimum wage job today even if you have built in raises they will find a way to fuck you out of it make your life hell till you quit and then hire another total fucking loser and thats your life now have fun with that welcome to 2015 kid hope you dont have student loans :stonedjerk:

There were no built in raises.  I got mine solely on merit.  He saw that I worked hard (it wasn't stocking shelves) and had learned some skills.  Why do you guys all act like victims?  Go look for a better job.  When you get it split or renegotiate.  Too many whiney bitches in the workforce

Those prices are insane! I live in Montana and I have a one bedroom apartment in a 4 plex with all utilities included, plus cable and internet and I only pay $550 a month. Ya'll are getting fuckin raped  :eek:

What fucking drives me nuts is that so many people believe prices will go up for everyone if the minimum wage is aligned. Keeping the minimum wage low is a basic tenant of "the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer." For too many people they know that and consciously make that choice.

I would like to know my growth oportunities are Zapp? I was eyeing another job, but got in a car accident, which was great, so I had to get a job I could walk to even if it snows or whatever. Also, if I was a victem I would have tryed to get disability. I want to work. All the sitting and standing we do, most fat cunt americams defenately couldn't. Ive defenately lifted over 100 pounds at this job(weight on package)

:lol: I used to work there, too. I was actually a shift lead there. I cannot convey just how shitty that place is to work. Most of the company policy/expectation is absurd, absolutely fucking absurd. They expect you to do the job of like 4 people, which if I was even getting the pay of 2 people, wouldn't be that bad, but I didn't. Truck came at around 5 am, it would take til 6 or 7 am to get unloaded, then I'm expected to get all the product that came in on the truck on the shelves with the rest of my shift (which I got off at 8). This is all while doing the usual duties that takes up all your time (if you can even finish those). Somehow I'm supposed to make 4 or 5 extra hours (very low estimate) just appear out of thin air.

The way they run the business also ended up with a lot of angry customers. Shit that is entirely out of my control, I got screamed at over on almost a nightly basis.

only if business's are allowed to raise prices, most big business makes billions and billions a year.  prices only go up because CEO's want to look good, not because the business would go bankrupt if they didn't.

People look at this all somewhat askew, as though these jobs and this strange work we do is natural, when not only is it unnatural, it leaves you unfafilled, it's unhealthnbeing on hard tile(knees), and you het way short changed. Im not a victwm, I wont do this more then w year of only for my knees, but the fact it's allowed that the most profitable company ever can pay you so low is terrible. Do people even think of how short life os and how much we take this time and oir health for granted? Fucking disgraceful, I would be ashamed of I was content
