Never got a DUI but I got close one night. I drove out of a gas station with my headlights off and immediately got pulled over. The cop approaches my window and asks how much I had to to drink ( I was trashed). I told him absolutely nothing he goes, "Who are you kidding dude I can smell it on your breath, step outta the car." At this point I know I'm totally fucked but I took a deep breath, collected my thoughts and told myself to just go with the flow. He gave me a field sobriety test,  1 foot in font of  the other walking a straight line, following a green laser with my eyes,  and standing on one leg while counting backwards from 10 mississippi. I passed and he told me to have a good night and to be safe

i almost did once, after finishing an 18 pack with my friend, i decided to go home right after, didnt realize i had a broken tail light. a cop got behind me right as i exited my friends street and he pulled me over. luckily i had chewed gum right before i drove off, and i was able to play it off, took every bit of strength not to slutter my words. got really lucky

my uncle told me one of his friends got caught up driving while shitfaced once, but the cop let him go, just told him he had to call somebody to pick him up.

sometimes u get extremely lucky, and other times you dont, best to count ur blessings. u only get a few chances in life..

If you are under 18 you cannot drive anyone under 18 as well in MA

I literally brokw that rule non stop and gotten so many tickets i lost count..aall by the same cop. Im still living down it because if i get a speeding ticket or any moving violation i need to take a class to keep mu license. 2 moving violations and i get my license suspended.

My license has been suspended over 3 times for this petty bs law

I got one when I was 18 or so.  It kinda sucked but I got a decent lawyer who got me a CWOF and minimal probation.  Was a long time ago now.

It was definitely shitty, but how dumb I was being is kinda funny in retrospect.  My friend invited me over for a party, then sprung it on everyone that his mom was coming home soon which he knew all along but I wasn't clear on :wtf: he asked if someone could take the empties so I volunteered.  I was most of the way home when I woke up with my car screeching into a phone pole in a ditch, and the pole hit like one foot behind my door, which was lucky.  I was ok and all pumped up on adrenaline. 

So the bag of empties exploded I guess from the impact, so there was probably like 50-100 empty bottles and cans scattered all over my car :facepalm: didn't even consider that.  The cops showed up, saw that, and for some reason they told me to go sit by their car by myself, and I must have heard wrong so I went and sat in the front seat :facepalm: at this point I realized I had a small amount of weed on me, which wasn't decriminalized then, so I proceeded to stick the baggy up my bum :facepalm: They come and are like "wtf are you doing sitting in the car?" and bitch me out, but were overall pretty nice.

So I get to the PD and they're doing all the intake stuff and I take the breathalyzer since I didn't really even think to refuse it.  At some point when I was going to and from the breathalyzer machine the weed fell out of my shorts onto the floor, which I stepped on and kinda dragged under my foot :facepalm: tried to act like I was scratching my leg and put it in my pocket, but they caught me.  They had already tried to say they were going to bust me for rolling papers which is rediculous because I don't even smoke joints, I roll cigs, so they seemed chuffed to get the weed.  I swear the cop takes it out, gives it a look and a nice sniff and says something like "this is pretty good weed" (it wasn't, plus it just came out of my butt) then kinda gives me a look and goes "we searched you pretty good, where'd you have this?" :facepalm:

I forget what I told him, but he got the idea and immediately left the room.  They started to treat me like shit after that, but I got bailed out at some point and went home.  Lost my liscence for a year I think, but got a "cindarella" liscence.  Had to pay an assload for the lawyer and court fees, and take the DUI class which basically taught me how to gauge what my BAL should be based on how many drinks I have and how much time passes.

Quite regrettable, but I learned my lesson at least.

Yeah that's rt 93 I think during rush hour, it's still like that.  I always thought that was weird, but the traffic does get really bad.

AFAIK our traffic lights work as normal, but you've definitely gotta have some nerves to hack it on the roads in MA.

he should have tased and arrested you on sight for being black. i guess he was kind of lenient on you on account of only being half black

Nope. Never have & don't plan on it. Whenever I drink, which is pretty rarely, I don't have any urge to drive. I know someone who got a DUI though. It cost them over $5,000 when it was all set & done. I also know someone who got a DUI like three decades ago & when they went to apply for a job they didn't mention it & then after the employers did more research they found out about it & suspended their job license for 6 months. Don't drink & drive kids! Be safe.

I did wreck my first car though about a month after I got it. :facepalm3: I was completely sober at the time. I was driving back from a Phish concert & skidded on black ice, spun about three or four times, & on the last rotation slammed into a guard rail. I wound up having to toss a 1/4 of mushrooms just incase I got pulled over on the rest of the way home. It was past midnight & my headlights were completely gone/smashed in & not working. Also the front end of my car was completely caved in. It's a wonder that I was able to make it back to my house.

Hey :shrug: at least I was drunk.  I can't help but cringe looking back though.

Luckily it was only a gram or so, but I can't get my head around why I decided to stick it up there instead of just eating it or something (edit-now that I think of it I think I was handcuffed by that point, which complicated things).  I guess I probably wanted to go home and smoke it later.

I now know for next time if you're going to pull such moves you've got to commit and get it past the sphincter :sadyes:

I got a DUI a few years back but I wasn't even drunk! I did a flawless sobriety test and he had me blow and I blew a .084 and the douche cop still arrested me  :mad2:

My union lawyer worked his magic and got it dropped to careless driving so I only had to pay a $120 ticket. I suppose I got lucky, but at the same time that cop was a fuck!


I was on a performance enhancing substance at the time. I had a nice sized corner bag of blow on me and managed to get it out of my pocket and into my mouth while cuffed in the back of the cop car. I was chatty as hell at the station and one of the hispanic cops saw from my cellphone that I had called my friend Hector a few times earlier that night. He checked my mouth but it was long gone and I was flying. The cop ended up driving me home and I never spent a minute in a jail cell. My wrists were destroyed for a week from the move I pulled getting the bag of yayo from pocket to mouth.

In the end this DUI cost me nearly two grand and countless hours of time with alcohol classes, but that's nothing compared to what happened when I got busted while driving while suspended after the DUI. That's another ballgame with a whole new set of stories attached, and I had to pull the same handcuff yayo trick when I got arrested for this one as well.

i had one but i've been arrested at least 7 times

funny thing, i was never arrested for that

i think i have a warrant in that state still but they can suck a fat one

Crashed my 2 first car while drunk but never got a DUI first time , it was during the day ,turn left on a green light but i didnt have priority never saw the car comming but he wasnt going fast so just a small impact, they had no idea i had drank. second time it was at 3-4 in the AM drunk as fck going downtown to find speed with some dudes. crashed on the high way while i was talking with the dudes and playing with the radio ran away told the cops the next day that i didnt want my parents to know i fucked the car thats why i ran. and it worked and that was all before i was even 18
