I have had Giraffe..

A while ago I worked in a kosher market and since Giraffe is concitered a kosher animal they decided to try it on the market to see if it would sell.. It never caught on, it didnt taste anything special and the idea was abandoned.

Also have had moose, shark, bear, deer, elk, all kinds of varrious birds and propably dog having eatn in some china towns in SF and LA.

Buffalo.. Thats bison right? Ive had that, it was good.
Alligator, I have alligator tail meat in my store right now.. I do remember I had one bite of it a long time ago.
Rabbit, Most stores sell frozen rabbit meat, we usually cook up stuff in the meat department during slow times. Ive had rabbit, it was good.
Im pretty sure Ive had goat too. I wasnt always told what I was eating as a kid and in Minnesota, near the goat farms Im sure they slipped it into my meals from time to time..

Bear... When I had bear it was at a restaurant in Minnesota and I had a steak.. Probably a prime cut. I remember it being very good.. Im sure other parts of the bear probably taste like shit.

Ostrich is good. It was really thick and tender. Also very red. :eyemouth:

I have to disagree with you about the Alligator. Blackened Alligator is one of my favorite dishes. Maybe it wasn't prepared right.

I've had deep fried snake, it's like chicken jerky. The bones get in the way though.
I've also had soft shelled turtle. The shell is superb, like jelly. The meat is tough and sticky, also tastes like chicken.

I've eaten moose, rattlesnake, elk, bear and a couple others that my tired mind can't think of.

Of course I can never sample the most exotic piece of meat there is. If I could I might never leave the house again.

try alligator snapping turtles. 7 different kinds of meat on that animal, and all of them taste great all in one stew.

rabbit is good, it was braised for a really long time and it was really tender.
I've also had alligator, the only kind I've had is the tail, chopped up, breaded and fried. Its good.
Softshell turtle is not so good. The meat is a bitch to get to and there's not much either. The edges of the shell are like what daba said, jelly.
had a buffalo burger, very tasty, has its own special flavor.

Haven't had ostrich yet, but I think at fuddruckers you can get ostrich burgers and at my supermarket they carry ostrich steaks.

I've tried ostrich, I had it at a local chinese place (at least they told me that it was ostrich). It tastes like beef, only waaaay tougher.

Gator
Snake
Buffalo
Deer
Rabbit
Ostrich
Frog legs

I'm sure there are others that I'm forgetting too. Some of those I haven't had for a long time, but from what I remember, they were all pretty good. Depends on the cut, and how it's cooked.
