The message is always the same. Mr. Putin battles corrupt global elites who are interested only in keeping power. Their center is Washington. The universe presented on Russian television is nothing but a bizarre, inverted image of an imaginary Soviet Union, a world in which the Cold War is turned on its head. They are the heroes who take a stand against global injustice and foreign domination. In Mr. Putin’s television dystopia, the “party bosses” in Washington are doing to Russia exactly the kind of things the Soviet Communist leadership and secret police used to do to Cold War era dissidents and human rights campaigners like Andrei Sakharov.

give me some facts, sources. prove him wrong, you should know how to counter his position if you're watching so carefully. detail some point -counterpoint debate proposition's and we'll argue whether or not he's more factual than you or not.

Russia did not Annex Ukraine, The NATO EU Kiev junta annexed everything but Crimea.  CrimeA had a referrendum and voted overwhelmingly to succeed to Russia.  The Kiev junta did a mitary coup, they are the annexers.  Ukraine's old legitimate democratic government rejected joining the EU and took Ruisia's deal instead.  In response NATO/EU Supported the overthrow of Ukraine's democratic government,  and even sank to employing flagrant right wing literal nazis because they would support a deal with the EU.

Crimea succeeded to Russia largely because it looked at the coup and saw the writing on the wall.  All of the ethnic russians there feared the kiev nationalist nazi terror squad

You don't get to go to the EU for support to overthrow the government in order to join the EU.  Why the hell would anyone want to join the blatantly broken EU anyway? Russia had a better deal and the legitimate government of Ukraine took Russia's deal instead.

So the EU supported the overthrew of Ukraine.  The spark was some very suspicious snipers who opened fire at a protest.  They were most likely EU provocateurs,  there is evidence elements in Ukraine were colluding with the EU for years trying to force Ukraine's enter into the EU.

It's not really about that, his post count rate on this one subject it's seeming like he is getting paid to do this. If not that's a damn dedicated person.

Ukraine had an elected government. That government rejected entering the EU and Instead accepted a better deal with Russia. 

There was never a vote to join the EU, any claims that it was a majority are complete misinformation.

The EU armed and suppoted a significantly nazi/ukranian nationalist military coup. The right-wing nationalists would then make up a significant part of the new government.

Crimea is a vast majority of ethnic russians,  it also happens to be an economic power center with lots of oil and a significant Russian naval base.

Now for those who don't understand;  Nationalists hate other ethnicities.  The coup government were fanatic Ukrainian Nationalists,  what does that spell for the ethnic Russians? A bad deal.


So Crimea rejected the EU Supported nationalist junta and instead voted to honor its partnership with Russia,  Ukraine's legitimate democratic government also made a partnership with Russia,  so by best measures, Crimea is way more in line with the Democratic majority of Ukraine.

Who was behind all of this? When I stumbled on it last fall, I had an idea. I was already investigating a shadowy organization in St. Petersburg, Russia, that spreads false information on the Internet. What Russia is doing is horrible and I'm keeping this thread alive in order to raise awareness. It seems many Americans are horribly confused about Russian agitprop and buy whatever they are told. By the way this story describes how shill sites like that Global Internet or whatever it was called site comes to life.

Arctic Fox doesnt seem to differentiate between types of propaganda, news sources or understands international politics. People like him have "given up". "Its all fucked up, everybody lies to me, woe is me" state of mind doesnt get you anywhere in this life. Thats like watching firefighters puttiing out a fire and you going "great, now you've made everything wet".

I am living in an ex-USSR state and the prospect of it marauding through Europe is a horrible prospect. People who are cynical of the news or politics are of no interest to me. The news sources, opinion pieces and tidbits I've posted are the ones that reflect the situation. Most people cant cope with the prospect that everything is in a shitty state so they either ignore it or try to downplay it. I'm saying its looking pretty grim.
