10 quarts coir/strawnet/dash of gypsum/5 quarts wbs spawn       

This log will show the process from spores to harvest, clone back to fruit, then prints. The goal of this particular grow is to narrow down genetics for clone specimen in 3 Tubs in order to use the tissue for years to come. Then print the good genetics and pass them on.

Grain was prepped using Fooman's Grain Tek

The plate was tiger dropped into a tribal container to make a Liquid inoculant.

Poured the Liquid Inoculant from the tribal container into 15 quarts of wbs grain.

13 days in


Tub spawned. Allowed to colonize. Then cased with a 50/50 mix of coir to verm with a dash of gypsum. All methods utilized oven pasteurization.

Which tub will win the battle?

Thus far tub 1 is winning the battle. 2 specimen from this tub will be cloned on agar via pastyplates. From this point on if a good clone is found, there is no need to go back to multispore until a later date. The idea is to grow out a nice yielding clone. Print it, then pass on good genetics. These clone genetics will make enough tissue to last years of grows.

2 of the earliest cluster specimen were taken from this tub and stem tissue will be cut and placed on agar.

one of the clones a few days after transfer. very aggressive. going to tiger drop about 10 plates so we can free up some plates.



The tubs were Tribal Dunked for an hour and now 2nd flushes are coming in a few days later.

Additionally, there will be prints taken like this for the future. The last set of prints easily germinated after being stored in plastic bags in the fridge from 2009-2015. 6 years is pretty decent. The 2003 stropharia prints that germinated this year were the shocker. 12 years and viable spores.
