red vein borneo kratom, SUCKS

I'm thoroughly disappointed in red vein Borneo kratom. OG Bali was incredible, but sadly I spilled the last 3oz I had and decided to order RVB this time. Worst decision ever. Didn't feel shit, no warmth, just fatigue and got a headache.

Maybe your vendor sucks. Ive had really nice rv borneo. All i take is red veined.

But borneo has been pretty sedating and warm ime equivalent to like 20mg hydrocodone. :shrug:

It has nothing to do with "Red Vein Borneo" being bad compared to other strains and everything to do with the batch you got of it being weak.

A red vein is a red vein for the most part no matter if it's Thai, Malay, Indonesian, etc. What varies is alkaloid content and that is increased by the maturity of the leaf. Proper storage is also key to keeping that potency.

To put it bluntly, your vendor sold you some weak ass shit, yo.

I always liked the reds the best as well.
Best one I remember getting was a batch of Indonesian Red Vein from a completely random vendor about a year ago.

Not only because of the nod, especially with weed, but so good for pain relief. :smile:

Also don't know If this makes a difference but I parachuted that last dose, and may have had some watermelon and protein bar floating around in my stomach. But Id still expect to feel something.

I have been getting some shitty batches of kratom lately. I dont know if its the off season of if my vendor is getting shady. I have been using it to taper off completely. The with drawl has been fairly unpleasant for me.

bali was the most sedating to me.
Got red vein borneo from current vendor and it's the bee's honey

If you see this reply and have a moment, it'd be nice of you to :pm: who your vendor is.  I like to stay on top of who has particularly good and bad batches at any given time.

You also raise an interesting point re: seasonality.  A lot of experienced kratom users claim the best batches are harvested between August-October, with stuff in late winter-early spring being the weakest.

Tybg: I could be mistaken about this, but I'm not sure The Shroomery itself makes any claims about quality control with their vendors.  I think the main requisite to being one is that they pay 200$ a month for it.  While many vendors are great (ie the ones that last), there have been bunches of shady/subpar sellers advertising here over the years.  Kratom batches vary drastically, even within the same batch, if that makes sense. Red Vein Borneo shouldn't be written off entirely; just that batch.
