yeah it calls for Mercon ATF. I found the drain and fill plugs. thanks. now I need to find the rear axle lubricant plug.

go to the end of the truck and look underneath the bumper. you should see a square 3/8th hole. thats your plug you are looking for.

OP get a bottle of 90 wt crawl under the truck take the side plug out and stick your finger in the hole. If you get oil on it you don't need to add fluid. if you don't just stick the spout on the oil in the hole till oil seeps out put the plug back in and you're good to go.

his truck has a M5OD transmssion which calls for mercon atf

I'm using a mercon aft fluid. the rear axle lubricant is what takes 90w 80 or whatever it is.
