Manual is far superior if you know how to drive it right. I had to buy an automatic last year when I bought my new truck just because they don't make them in a manual (Ford F-150 FX4). Sometimes it frustrates me.
But the trucks I drive at work always have 10 or 15 gears so a 5-speed almost feels like an automatic to me!

manuals are fun to drive around and race people
but if you r going to be driving stoned or under the influence of any drug than i would get an automatic so your mind can be at ease and you dont have to worry about shifting
