Random Teleportation vs. Quantum Teleportation
    #2163980 - 12/06/03 11:04 AM (20 years, 3 months ago)

Random being something that occurs without notice. Quantum being something that is planned. I think when they finally create machines to allow us to teleport many bad things will occur one thing is people will learn how to hijack information that is being sent. A good thing is someone will invent security for the people who will be teleporting.

Now Random teleportation to me would be letting something malfunction on purpose in order to see where it lands.

In a nutshell: Simple vs. Complex

uh... random teleporting wouldn't be very useful and so i doubt they'd invent machines that randomly teleported poeple places.

ps, you don't need machines to teleport. :P

Thank you for noticing, but i'd like to teleport through a real machine one day. Atleast maybe I'll donate my life to testing out my teleportation machine.

make sure to test it on an object, then some animals first te he.

and like i said, you really don't need machines to teleport. psipog.net then articles, then misclaneous, then phasing. teleporting works similarly. you've got a good 20-30 years of hard hard work ahead of you though. maybe not, maybe you'd be gifted.

Not to be confused with quantum teleportation which isn't planned at all, and happens without notice :smirk:

Once, men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free.
But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.

How would you define teleportation that is planned through a machine?

That would still be "teleportation" :smirk:

Quantum teleportation, specifically, exploits the principle of quantum entanglement to "virtually" tranfer a particle from one location to another.

Teleportation "planned through a machine" would still be teleportation...the only difference is that you planned it :smirk:
