bad salvia trip

i have done salvia divinorum numerous times and this past night i consumed 1/4 - 1/2 bottle of beer before smoking the non enhanched leaves in a regular tobbaco pipe. I had the usual trip, but i woke up at 1AM with severe anxiety and i threw up ect... it took me a while to get back to sleep as i had to keep moving my limbs and such so i just took the blankets off and shivered to sleep. it's 9AM the following morening and i stil have some of those feelings like anxiety towards nothing....i was wonding if this is common with all halucinagentic drugs and if it's just nerves being rebuilt or just a coming down phase....someone please reassure me it's not perminant brain damage and such. (i can type just as fast and accurate as i normally can, just realized that but someone reassure me please : \

The 1st time i tried salvia i thought "Shit is this a salvia comedown?" After smoking a full eights between 3 of us on a bong.. We managed to pick ourselfs up and go out for abit..I was feeling really tired and anxious for what seemed ages! id say it was about 6 hours all in all i was feeling all anxious, tired and distorted

This may have just triggered an anxiety disorder that you have. Drugs can do that. Even pot.

Here's my theory:

You smoked a little more than normal. Had a decent trip, but also a very anxious 'busy' trip. This caught you off guard. Because of this you have begun to over analyze the situation. If you believe hard enough that you've received permanent brain damage, you're gonna start acting stupid. Go, sit down, have a hot bowl of chicken noodle soup, read a book, and listen to your favorite mellow cd. Dim the lights, fall asleep. When you wake up, you'll feel great.

well, i appreciate your responses/reassurances, my theory on it was that each time i've smoked salvia it intensifies each time...my body had a reaction similar to an 'alergic' reaction to pot, the anxiousness, the rapid heart rate ect....
blarg, off to work now and i'm only feeling a bit better now.
