I don't wish to sound too critical, but really, have you ever heard of "set and setting?" I mean, the purpose for your trip and the location in which it took place IS the trip! Secondly, tolerance to indole psychedelics builds rapidly, so a double dose would be required. There is cross tolerance which means that substances like LSD used the next day would also require higher dosage levels. Even though toxicity is low for 'shrooms, your body does react - your liver needs to filter metabolites and your brain needs to replenish its serotonin level. If you're using more than once per week, you're abusing, and might be developing what's (unfortunately) referred to as Hallucinogen Dependence (304.50 in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders or DSM IV). Although statistically rare, Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder (292.89) does occur. Recommendation: Pick up the book 'LSD: My Problem Child' by Albert Hofmann, and read if nothing else, the last page. The only real reason for using Sacred drugs. Lastly, contrary to popular belief - smoking cannabis on or off a trip is not good for your health. With Entheogens, more is not necessarily better until you have a specific goal, and entertainment isn't it!
Umm, i dont know about you guys, but a true level 5 is beyond fear, for me that is. I've only experienced one, and in retrospect i experienced some stuff that would have turned me insane with fear, but at that moment it just was. Anyway, i think there are different grades of bad trips. Simple anxiety, because you fear your mother will find you tripping is a mild one. Fear that you wont come out of it is a deeper fear. The fear reality was just a thought you had a while ago and the insanity you find yourself in currently is where you've always been, no returning because there is no point of return once you let go. Keep in mind, you are the perceiver, the observer and that there is no need for returning, because you are always 'there', no matter what reality you seem to perceive. Yeah, its just a drug, but why are you using it? If you spend most of your trip fearing you wont come back and start reminding yourself that its going to wear off eventually, i think you are using it for the wrong reasons. But hey, remember, thats just my opinion. Maybe you are just not ready to face reality. Not this one, but the other(s)...? Peace and good vibes
