Re: The Salvia Consciousness [Re: MushroomTrip]
    #10828550 -

While I've smoked salvia many times i have only had 1 or two memorable trips. The first of these was the second time I smoked it. I was sitting in my friends room and could sense a force just outside the wall of his room controlling me and pulling the strings for everything. I got the sense that this power was screwing with me. the whole vibe of the trip was "Hey you, I put a lot of effort into this joke the least you could do is laugh?" God is always laughing and its your choice to be laughed at or to laugh with him.

The second trip was maybe my sixth time smoking. this was the only trip that I saw lady Sophia on it was the clearest Ive ever seen her. at the beginning of the trip one or two entities seemed upset that i was there but then she drifted in from my left and forced them away. this was my first taste of the unconditional love between the subject and the object and really acted like a catalyst for me.

That experience is still etched into my memory. It's been well over 6 years now. I wrote that piece shortly after my experience, during that time when it feels more real than reality - after the initial fog boils away and before it was committed to long term memory. I did not add anything to it. If anything, I have left some parts out...either because they were too strong or because I never remembered them.

I often think of this "feminine force" as the anima. I have seen something very similar on an extremely heavy mushroom trip. I was experiencing ego trip, but I fought it. I was tripping harder than I ever had and I got scared. I was trying so desperately to keep my eyes open but as soon as my eyes would shut I would see it, a gigantic feminine entity made of flesh and machine in what seemed to be the center of the universe. Was this God I thought? Some ancient relic of consciousness?

I never fully closed my eyes but if I had a pen in hand right now I could draw it with incredible accuracy. I truly feel that if I were a woman I would have seen a man up there in the sky. I am a follower of Jungian thought. I think too many of the "entities" that we see while in other states of consciousness represent Jungian ideas such as archetypes etc.

I also think that most people (especially men) see nature as being a woman, I know I do.

Seeing nature as a woman makes practical sense as it is the womb of life. Seeing the creative force as male is IMO, fear based in death anxiety.

No. I'm too lazy, figure it out.:satansmoking: Not to mention I've explained death anxiety about fifty bazillion times.

I know about death anxiety, but I'm just sorta puzzled about how seeing the creative force as male is symptomatic of that. Does it have anything to do with human hubris?

Maybe human debris.

A big part of nature is death and decay. The Male God gives everlasting life. See where I'm going here?

It is weird how female these intense psychedelic experiences feel. I wonder if female trippers get the same sensations...

One interpretation could be Jungian and that we males are taping into our jungian coined anima. Who knows.

On my higher doses of smoked DMT I always seem to get visited by a female cat like entity that is very motherly like.

*edit seems like someone mentioned this jungian term before me
