Successful Projection of False Perceptions?
    #2088383 -

Step 1: Reduce everything.
Step 2: Assume and pretend you haven't.
Step 3: Develop a stance.
Step 4: Put together some clever rhetoric in case of opposition.
Step 5: If Step 4 fails, cry foul and resort to personal attacks.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

I tried thinking of some cool name that would work, and some reason Baal came up. I am not familiar with any Baal, just know the name....

Odin is my god. Norse mythology is the shit!
Peace.

Re: Logical thesis [Re: Sclorch]
    #2121992 -

If logic itself could be the product of a flawed reasoning process,
then I suppose any conclusion arrived at exclusively thru logic, could be less than the optimum attainable for all concerned.

Logic is only one tool in an array of tools we have at our disposal...and total reliance upon one tool is self-defeating when it comes to solving problems. Tools used in conjuction with each other make short work of complex situations... shared responsibility is then the foundation of a harmonious relationship.

Reductionism as a tool is usefull for defining Principles and arguments , but the Reasoning processes unconstrained by logic, one such being 'free-association', are also the source of many good ideas.

You are correct, sir.
Logic IS only a tool.

And like any other tool, it can be used improperly and/or poorly.
