Yeah metric is better for calculations, but feet and inches are conveniently sized for casual measurements. At a certain point they were pushing metric versions of feet and inches that were exactly 30 cm and 2.5 cm, but it never took off.

Yeah that's nothing, it's not like people rely on the ability to have technology orbiting the earth on a daily basis. But the moon on the other hand, just think of the sweet setup you guys have over there and all the riches you've brought back.
