Going hunting for libs on golf course today!

Hey guys was wondering what your thoughts on this would be, in Central Scotland, has been fairly dry past few weeks but it has been very foggy and after some rain a couple days ago I've noticed a lot of shrooms pop up around my house(no libs unfortunately).

Went hunting this morning but was unsuccessful as there was just loads of bracken where I thought there was grass(not been there for over a year lol)

So have any of you been hunting on the golf course before? Where abouts on the course do you find best? There are a number of sheep and cows in the surrounding fields and at one part I can easily jump over the wall to where the sheep field is ^_^
I'm actually going out myself for a game but going to look for shrooms as much as possible!

I will take plenty photos and upload them afterwards to help out anyone else in the future, sharing is caring =D

I tried once. I found a few, but realized I was getting very close to being hit
in the head by flying golf balls. If something like that doesn't kill you, it will
probably leave you a complete vegetable.

On the other hand, I've heard of people hunting golf courses at night with
torches. Probably safer. I've also heard people tell about really good hauls
from golf courses.

I would suspect hole 9. No seriously, this depends of course on the terrain
and micro climate. Try checking along the edges where the mower hasn't
been too hard at work.

This would increase your chances of success - I'd jump that fence and check the pastures.

Not a complete vegetable, though I do experience the odd compulsion to bury my feet in rich, well drained and loamy soil.

Also depends on how you feel about weed killer, pesticides, fertilizer and whatever else they throw on golf courses to make them green...

What doesn't kill you still might mess up your liver and kidneys

Might think about fair grounds, wild life preserves, large parks... Some place that gets some animal traffic (spores on legs) and has grass.
